The love of my life left me
I suppose it was all of her
And none of me
I replant my garden today
Hoping that it will grow
More flowers, buds
More flowers, buds
Nectar for the bees
The love of my life
Was right to follow
Her dreams
And I sit here
Planting flowers
Hoping they will sprout
Newness
Resolve
Happiness
Even in the winter months
The love of my life reminded
Me with one letter
Look for me inside
I will always be there
The love of my life is in me
And it can only ever be so
How can I divorce myself
From myself
My left hand and right hand
Begin to plant
And anticipate
The lonely
Orchid
Which blooms every year
Knowing
That it too
Must dwell
In sunlit.
