Lover, I hold my chest
In grips, at the sight
Of you leaving, I long
Tenderly for your kiss
As the days go towards
Ends, remiss, towards
The South or East
Or even towards the West
I turn north and see no
Knowledge, in love the Sun
Rises and sets in every and all
Directions, in which some souls
Pay homage, yet to my utter dismay
For I long for your return when the skies
Turn dark long after they turn grey
It is then that the hour soon resets and restarts
Intrepid Day
Thus my day is night and my night is day
I thank the heavens for switching weights
My candor on full display, run with me for
Hours carefree in fields long left and gone astray
As we sit in the long moments, separated in no way
For in our heart love stays true, never does it sway
Let’s reunite our Candles wicks and reunion our souls
In eternal light there is no shade.
