Speech

You, here, now. This moment. Breath of life
Are you vexed by the realness, hallows eve
Stuns sympathetic as well as nervous system
burns cold liquid blue. Life teaches lessons
Books do not plan for, life teaches lessons
Hold the hand that plans best more. The rhyme
comes back, do not plot do not plan, there
Is a laugh on high, the crickets chirp with
Summers demise, oh how can soul grow cold
Cold is warmth, summer's longing driven unknown
I try to tell you I see more than 3 days of dark
Night, but you never really cared to listen
The Egyptian's who were pillaged had it right.

At last there is one thing to say at least a bit on
Mount, this struggle that is welcomed in, is still
a saving bout. Light remains, through darkest days
It's still in darkness it does shine like praise, when
congregation shouts, breath resides pulls and ties,
to the phoenix, ashes sprout, take what may, and to the day,
pray Your conscience has no doubt, or another sign wanes
on thin line, flashing with no out, but within, self proclaims
What outside waivers, like sea it tosses salt and stubborn
hatred out, love all, such as neighbor was commandment
issued now. Broken by the broken, light must find some mouth.
